AI Videos - Credits, interface and error handling in BromeAI

In this article, you will see how to use AI Videos in BromeAI how video credits work, what the sidebar options do, and what to do when a generation fails.

1. What are AI Videos in BromeAI?

AI Videos let you generate short videos from a text prompt and, depending on the model, from start and end images.

You access this feature via the camera icon in the left sidebar, then the AI Video tab.

2. How do video credits work?

AI Videos use a dedicated quota that you can see in your personal space.

  1. Open your account space.

  2. Go to Account → Usage.

  3. Look at the Video Credits section with a progress ring and the number of credits remaining.

Each video generation consumes part of these credits.
The cost depends on three main elements.

  1. The model you choose

    • For example Sora 2, Veo 3.1.

    • Some models consume more credits than others.

  2. The resolution

    • In the Resolution block you will see something like

      • standard 13c/s

    • The text 13c/s means “13 credits per second” for this resolution on this model.

  3. The video duration

    • In the Duration block you choose a length, for example 4s, 6s, 8s, 12s.

    • The longer the video, the higher the total credit cost.

2.1. Example calculation (illustrative)

In your screenshots you can see for example

  • model Sora 2

  • resolution standard 13c/s

  • duration 4s

In this case, the approximate cost is 4 × 13 = 52 video credits.

💡 Exact values such as 13c/s or 52c/s can differ from one model to another and may change over time. Always rely on what is displayed in the Resolution block to know the current cost.

3. The AI Video interface

On the left side of the screen, the sidebar groups all video generation settings.
Options can change slightly depending on the model, for example Sora 2 or Veo 3.1.

3.1. Model

At the top, the Model block

  • shows the selected model, for example Sora 2 or Veo 3.1

  • may display a New or Premium badge

Clicking this block opens the list of available video models.

3.2. Images source

The Images source block lets you upload images that will be used as a base for the video.

  • Start Frame is the first frame of your video

  • End Frame is the last frame of your video, visible for example with Veo 3.1

You can click the area to upload an image.
Depending on the model, you may also leave these fields empty to generate a video from text only.

3.3. Format

The Format block defines the orientation or aspect ratio of the video

  • Portrait or Landscape

  • sometimes 16:9 or 9:16 depending on the model

Choose the format that fits your use case, for example vertical stories or horizontal videos.

3.4. Duration

The Duration block offers several predefined lengths

  • 4s, 6s, 8s, 12s

Longer duration means a more detailed video and a higher total credit cost.

3.5. Resolution

The Resolution block shows

  • the quality preset, for example standard

  • the cost per second, such as 13c/s or 52c/s

This block gives you an overview of the target output quality, for example 720p or 1080p depending on the model, and the cost associated with that quality.

3.6. Seed

At the bottom, the Seed field

  • controls the randomness of the generation

  • same prompt, same model and same Seed give a very similar video

  • a new Seed produces a different variation

You can keep the suggested value or change it if you want to replay a similar scene with slight differences.

4. Common errors when generating videos

In the interface, BromeAI displays a generic message such as

An error occurred while generating a response. Please try again.

This single message can correspond to several different causes.
Here are the most frequent scenarios and how to handle them.

4.1. Temporary issue with the model or provider

In the background this can be

  • the video model being temporarily overloaded

  • a timeout on the provider side

  • an external service being temporarily unavailable

In this situation

  1. Try again once with the same request.

  2. If the error shows up again immediately

    • try another video model

    • or wait a few minutes before trying again

These errors are usually not related to your account, but to the state of the model at the time of the request.

4.2. Timeout or very long generation

For longer or more complex videos, for example higher duration and resolution, it can happen that

  • the model keeps rendering on the provider side

  • but the request in your browser times out

You see the same generic error, even though the generation may have succeeded.

Recommended steps

  1. Refresh the page, then go back to AI Video.

  2. Check your video history

    • if the video appears, the generation succeeded despite the error message

    • if nothing appears after a short delay and a refresh, consider that the generation failed

In that case you can

  • run the generation again

  • reduce the duration, resolution or complexity of your request

  • switch to another model if available

4.3. Content rejected by the model’s rules

Sometimes the model provider flags the content as sensitive or not compliant with its rules, even if you only see the generic error.

Common reasons

  • a request for videos with licensed or protected characters, for example very famous heroes or branded robots

  • presence of real public figures

  • content that is too explicit, such as graphic violence or sexual content

In these cases

  1. Simplify or rephrase your prompt

    • describe a character in a generic way, for example “a giant futuristic robot”, instead of using a specific brand or franchise name

  2. Avoid identifiable real people

  3. Try another video model, still following the same content rules

If the requested content is incompatible with the provider’s policies, the generation will remain blocked regardless of the platform.

5. What happens to your credits when there is a video error?

In general

  • if the generation never really starts on the provider side, the corresponding credit is not deducted

  • if the generation finishes despite an interface timeout, the credit is counted and the video should appear in your history after a refresh

If you think a credit was consumed while nothing was generated

  1. note the approximate date and time

  2. if possible, copy the error message shown

  3. contact BromeAI support, who can check the logs and fix things if needed

6. Summary

BromeAI’s AI Videos let you

  1. generate short videos by choosing a model, format, duration, resolution and Seed

  2. understand the video credit cost thanks to the Resolution block values like 13c/s or 52c/s and the Video Credits section in Account → Usage

  3. handle the most common errors by

    • trying once again

    • refreshing the page and checking your history

    • simplifying your prompt or reducing duration and resolution

    • switching models if there is overload or content policy friction

AI Videos are the tool to use when you want fast AI-generated videos while keeping full control over your credits and output quality.
