AI Images - Generation and error handling in BromeAI

In this article, you will see how to use AI Images in BromeAI: how many images you can generate, what the sidebar options do, and what to do if you see an error message.

1. How many AI images can I generate?

The number of images you can generate depends on your BromeAI plan.

  1. Open your personal space.

  2. Go to Account → Usage.

  3. You will see your monthly quotas, including:

    • Standard Images

    • Premium Images

For each resource:

  • if you see the symbol, that resource is unlimited on your plan.

  • if you see a counter (for example 120 / 500 remaining), that is the number of images left for the current month.

When you generate an image:

  • a standard image model consumes one Standard Images credit.

  • a model marked Premium consumes one Premium Images credit.

2. The AI Image interface

In the AI Image section (image icon in the left sidebar), you will find:

2.1. Prompt area

At the top of the screen:

  • a text field “Describe the image you want to generate…”.

  • an Add Image button to upload an input image (for editing / variation, depending on the model).

  • a microphone icon to dictate your prompt.

You simply describe the image you want, then click the Send button.

2.2. Sidebar – model and parameters

In the left column you will see:

  1. Model

    • Selection of the image model (Nano Banana Pro 🍌, Flux, etc.).

    • Some models have a Premium or New badge.

  2. Style

    • Choice of style (Photorealistic, etc.), depending on what the model offers.

  3. Aspect Ratio

    • Ratio buttons (1:1, 3:2, 2:3, 4:5, 5:4, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16, 21:9…).

    • You choose the most suitable format: square, vertical, landscape, ultra-wide, and so on.

  4. Seed

    • A number that controls the “randomness”.

    • Same prompt + same model + same Seed → a very similar result.

    • New Seed → a new variation.

  5. Auto Enhance Prompt

    • When enabled, BromeAI automatically improves your prompt to help the model produce a better result.

    • Disable it if you prefer the model to receive exactly your text.

🔎 Available parameters depend on the selected model: some models do not expose all fields (ratio, seed, style, etc.).

2.3. Generation history

Under the prompt area, BromeAI shows your past generations as cards:

  • image preview.

  • badges such as Model, Seed, Ratio, Style.

  • actions (download, duplicate, delete, copy prompt, etc.).

This lets you:

  1. quickly find an image you have already generated.

  2. duplicate a generation and tweak it slightly (prompt, style, seed…).

  3. re-download images without regenerating them.

3. When you see “An error occurred while generating a response.”

In BromeAI, whatever the technical cause, you always see the same generic message:

An error occurred while generating a response. Please try again.

This single message can correspond to several different situations behind the scenes.
Here are the main possible causes and what you can do.

3.1. Temporary issue with the model or provider

Internally, this can be caused by:

  • the model being temporarily overloaded.

  • a timeout on the provider’s side.

  • an external service being temporarily unavailable.

In these cases:

  1. Try again once with the same prompt.

  2. If the error appears again immediately:

    • try another image model.

    • or wait a few minutes before trying again.

These errors are usually not related to your account, but to the state of the model at the exact time of your request.

3.2. Timeout or very long generation

For heavier content, the model can keep working while the request in your browser has timed out.
You still see the same generic message, even though the generation may have succeeded.

Recommended first steps:

  1. Refresh the page, then go back to the relevant section.

  2. Check your history:

    • if the image appears, the generation actually finished despite the error message.

    • if nothing appears after a short delay and a refresh, consider that the generation failed.

In that case, you can:

  • run the generation again.

  • reduce the resolution or complexity of your request.

3.3. Content rejected by the model’s rules (sensitive content)

Sometimes, in the background, the provider responds that the content is sensitive or not compliant with its rules (with internal error codes).

Typical reasons:

  • asking to illustrate licensed or protected characters (very famous cartoon heroes, robots, etc.).

  • requests involving real public figures.

  • content that is too explicit (graphic violence, sexual content, etc.).

For you, this still shows up as the same generic message, but the real cause is the model’s content policy.

What to do in these cases:

  1. Simplify or rephrase your prompt:

    • replace a specific character with a general description (for example, “a giant futuristic robot” instead of a brand or franchise name).

  2. Avoid asking for images of identifiable real people.

  3. Try another model, while still respecting the same general safety rules.

If the requested content is incompatible with the provider’s policies, the generation will remain blocked, regardless of the platform.

4. What happens to your credits when there is an error?

In general:

  • if the generation never really starts on the provider side, the corresponding credit is not deducted.

  • if the generation finishes despite an interface timeout, the credit is counted (and the result should appear after a refresh).

If you think a credit was consumed while nothing was generated:

  1. note the approximate date and time.

  2. if possible, copy the error message or any identifier shown.

  3. contact BromeAI support, who can check the logs and correct things if needed.

5. Summary

BromeAI’s AI Images tools allow you to:

  1. Generate images with different models, styles, ratios and seeds.

  2. Track your Standard Images and Premium Images quotas in the Usage tab of your account.

  3. Find your creations in the history and duplicate them easily.

  4. Understand what the generic message

An error occurred while generating a response. Please try again.

actually means, and apply the right steps:

    • try once again.

    • refresh the page and check your history.

    • adjust the prompt (less sensitive content, fewer constraints).

    • change model or wait a bit if the service is overloaded.

For quick and creative use cases, you can usually relaunch or adapt a generation in just a few clicks.
If the message persists, your Usage page and BromeAI support will help you verify what happened with your credits.
